Peoples attitude towards police officers fucking disgusts me. Yeah, there are shitty people out there that become cops. Just like there are shitty people that do anything else. But the dehumanization of officers is seriously something that blows my fucking mind. These people are brothers, fathers, cousins, husbands, and so on. They’re just like anyone else. Most of them just want to do there god damn job. People like me wanted to be an officer because we want to help people. But as I grew up I realized how shitty they’re treated. You don’t even know who this man is, and neither do I. Maybe he was an asshole. Maybe he wanted to help people. Either way it doesn’t matter, we don’t know him. So why the fuck are people so eager to hate him for wearing a god damn uniform?
